Sustainable Building Partners (SBP) provides building commissioning services that act as the quality
assurance backbone of a project, verifying that a building doesn't just look complete on paper, but
actually performs as designed. SBP bridges the gap between design-based targets and
performance-based verifiable outcomes, working closely with project teams to drive long-term results
in energy use, environmental impact, and occupant satisfaction. Our scope covers the full lifecycle,
from mechanical systems to the building envelope, including Building Enclosure Commissioning
(BECx), which focuses on trade coordination, functional performance testing, and catching
performance issues at enclosure transition points before they become major problems. This work is
delivered across new construction and retrofits alike, supporting standards such as LEED, ASHRAE, and
IMC, with completed projects ranging from net-zero office headquarters to LEED Platinum fire stations
featuring enhanced commissioning.
