Our Buildings, Energy, and Infrastructure (BEI) team includes more than 110 full-time professionals who provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and structural design services. McKim & Creed’s extensive offering of in-house services enables more efficient, coordinated, and timely responses to address our clients’ needs from minor retrofitting to major overhauling or ground-up construction. Incorporating effective MEP/FP/S solutions minimize environmental impacts while maximizing functionality. 

From the start of each project, the BEI team engages our clients to discern best solution options and opportunities for better building systems, construction, and operations while managing costs. McKim & Creed’s award-winning team of MEP professional engineers, fire protection specialists, LEED® certified and Green Globes professionals focus on technology innovation and excellence to help create best-value, efficient solutions for our clients.   

McKim & Creed has served various commercial, municipal, educational and healthcare clients across the southeast and east coast. Our expertise ranges from providing MEP infrastructure assessment services for short- and long-term capital planning to large renovation, new construction and commissioning projects. Our engineers provide engineering solutions for all MEP system types including complete HVAC system replacements, HVAC controls system replacements and modifications, central energy plant upgrades, renovations to major chiller and/or boiler systems, heating and air conditioning systems, central HVAC piping systems, electrical distribution system, energy efficient lighting systems & analysis, fire alarm systems, plumbing systems, medical gas system design, and fire protection systems. Additionally, our structural engineering team provides design support services to ensure that our projects are structurally sound from concept through construction.
