EquipmentShare was founded in 2015 by experienced contractors – brothers Jabbok and Willy Schlacks – on a mission to transform the construction industry through technology. The Schlacks brothers gained construction experience from an early age, founding and running multiple construction and general contracting businesses. This provided them with firsthand understanding of the inefficiencies that have plagued construction for decades – and the determination to fix it.



Together they built EquipmentShare to enable every contractor to run more effective and efficient jobsites. Today, EquipmentShare is the fastest-growing equipment solutions provider in the U.S. The company has grown into a team of over 7,300 employees across an expanding footprint of 348 prime location rental, retail and service centers, offering over 297,000 connected assets.
